SWAMI DIVYA CHETNANANDA

A Short Biography

Early Years:

Swamiji is a great yogi who has descended from a place called Siddhashrama, a divine abode situated in the Himalayas, where all the Great Masters of the Universe reside.

He is a disciple of Paramahansa Swami Nikhileshwarananda, also known as Dr.Narayana dutt Shrimali, from Jodhpur, and was also mentored by another Divine master known as Shree Baba Bhootnathji of Lucknow.

Swamiji, known as Ranjeet Chaube in his earlier days is an engineer by educational qualifications. He graduated from the prestigious Benares Hindu University of India. After his graduation, he worked in the Top Corporates of the seventies and later on established his own Textile Business.

During this period, He came across Baba Bhoothnathji of Lucknow, whose extraordinary divine powers immediately aroused the spiritual fervor in Swamiji and he earnestly set on his path of Sadhana – Meditations on the Divine Mother. Baba Bhoothnathji trained him in Tantra and Mantra. He also taught him the secrets of the Supernatural and Paranormal Phenomena existing in the spiritual worlds. He trained him in using these powers to help himself and all other disciples who, in the future, would come to Swamiji for guidance.

Baba Bhoothnathji instructed Swamiji to settle in Mumbai and lead a well-balanced life of a householder, businessman & a spiritual Yogi. This instruction was given to Swamiji because Babaji very well knew that Swamiji will be guiding disciples, who would primarily be, householders struggling with daily problems of money matters, family, kids, health, career, education etc. All of these problems would have to be completely resolved before these disciples could be set on the Path of Sadhana. Swamiji has been successfully doing this for many years.

Middle Years:

Swamiji came to Mumbai and was leading his life as per the instructions of Babaji – “A householder in daytime & a Yogi by the night.” A decade nearly passed, leading life in this manner. During this time, Swamiji trained himself in Kriya Yoga under the directions of direct disciples of Lahiri Mahasaya and also Self Realization Fellowship. He also received training from the prestigious Paramahansa Ramakrishna Monastery.

By now, the stars aligned in such a way that Swamiji was pulled to the next stage of His spiritual quest. In the year 1987, a friend took him to a Spiritual Camp organized by a well known Tantrik Yogi, Astrologer and Philosopher of that time. This Great Personality was none other than Dr. Narayana dutt Shrimali, also known as Paramahansa Nikhileswaranada.

During that camp, the knowledge of Paramahansa Nikhileswaranada mesmerized Swamiji. The connection was established between the Guru and the Disciple. Yet, the disciple didn’t realize it at that instant. The bond between them became stronger and stronger with every meeting and at each meeting all the doubts of Swamiji would get cleared off. Swamiji spend many years under the guidance of his Guru practicing various sadhanas. At the pinnacle of his spiritual quest, his Guru blessed Swamiji and as a result Swamiji had the rare opportunity of seeing various Deities and receive their blessings. Swamiji can commune with all these deities anytime and with their guidance Swamiji guides and helps all his disciples.

Later years till present:

Swamiji got deeply involved with his Guru’s work and labored hard to spread his teachings, which he is actively doing till today. Swamiji organized many Fire Sacrifices known as Yagnas, Spiritual Retreats and discourses everywhere. He also wrote many books, obeying the directions from his Master. Few years ago, before leaving this planet, his Guru summoned Swamiji and initiated him into the Monastic order and gave him the new name “Swami Divya Chetna” – literally meaning “Master of Divine Consciousness.”

In the late 90's Shree Divya Chetnananda started his organization called ' Divya Chetna Kendra' (Divine Consciousness Center). The Mission’s goal is to spread various ancient Vedic knowledge for the betterment of everyday life and to teach people how they can use their inherent spiritual powers to lead a well balanced life, living successfully, both materially as well as spiritually.
